The Florida Municipal Investment Trust (FMIvT), established in 1993, is a local government investment pool administered by the Florida League of Cities. It offers Florida municipalities and local governments a range of professionally managed investment portfolios, including fixed-income, equity, and real estate options.
Designed to prioritize safety, liquidity, and performance, the Trust provides benefits such as low fees, minimal investment requirements, and comprehensive oversight by experienced professionals.

FMIvT operates under Florida Statutes and is governed by a Board of Trustees composed of elected officials from participating municipalities. The Investment Advisory Committee includes finance directors from across Florida and past presidents of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association. This committee works closely with the Administrator to provide guidance on Trust matters.
Administered by the Florida League of Cities, the FMIvT is an interlocal governmental entity and an authorized investment under Section 163.01 of the Florida Statutes.
