Continuing Education in Ethics: Have You Completed Your Hours?
Florida’s municipal elected officers are required to complete four hours of specific continuing education in ethics each year. The session includes two hours on the Florida Ethics Law, one hour on public meetings, and one hour on public records. Officials who have already completed their hours may also attend as a refresher. Registration is limited to the first 175 participants and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
