Municipal Policy-making: Best Practices - Part 1 (Online Learning)

  • Dates: 05 – 05 Jun, 2018
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

LC University is excited to partner with Mike Abels, retired city manager and university instructor, as he shares best practices in policy-making for elected officials and staff.

In this three-part online series, Mike will draw largely from his recently published textbook, Policy-Making in the Public Interest: A Text and Workbook for Local Government. Each session, Mike will explore core policy-making concepts and competencies, as well as provide tools for identifying and adopting local government policies to support a multi-dimensional understanding of the public interest.

Be sure to join us for this educational and informative summer series on practical policy issues in local government.
