Our mission is to provide internal technology services for League functions and to provide external services to member cities. External services include a variety of key technology products which will support municipal operations.
FLC SecureMail
The Florida League of Cities has taken extra measures to protect the security of our member’s health information. For security reasons, which fall under HIPAA guidelines, our Customer Service Representatives do not respond to inquiries that include protected health information(PHI) using standard e-mail. Instead, we offer FLC SecureMail, an alternate means to communicate securely with our Representatives. To send and receive encrypted correspondence containing PHI, you must be a registered user on this site. Please contact your Customer Service Representative and ask them to establish an account for you.

Complaint/Request Tracking
Through a partnership with Mainline Corp., the Florida League of Cities provides a complaint, request and issues tracking system called BetterPlace. This system has been designed to operate as an ASP product through Mainline. This means that individuals use the system through the Internet and, therefore, no additional hardware or software is needed by the local government. Initial costs are very low, and the League can provide a free 30-day trial.
Online Auctions
Through a special arrangement with GovDeals, Inc., the League provides an Internet-based auction to Florida local governments for their surplus equipment. We encourage you to visit www.govdeals.com to view the actual auctions currently underway. This is a no up-front cost arrangement. You pay nothing to start the service and only pay a percent of the sales price of what is sold (typically a much lower percent that an auctioneer will charge). Local governments have the freedom to withdraw a product from sale at any time, or to reject all bids without paying a fee or penalty.
