FLC eBlasts

FLC eNews, the League's bi-weekly newsletter, has been streamlined into weekly eBlasts that are short, sweet and topic-specific. With this new format, members are able to access and act on the content that means most to their cities.
The Events & Training eBlast covering FLC University's events and training opportunities, as well as events from our partners, is sent twice monthly. This is where members will find information about upcoming League events and conferences, regional summits, webinars and other training sessions.
On alternating weeks, members receive the Latest News & Resources eBlast, which will include League announcements, funding opportunities, information on municipal programs and awards, open local government positions and Dr. Scott Paine's blog - as well as recent news, videos and photos.
Guidelines for Open Local Government Positions 
The Florida League of Cities advertises open local government positions on its website. This is a complimentary service. Ads will appear online within a week (five business days) of submittal.
To submit an ad:
Email the ad title, city population, salary, closing date and a link to the online ad to Erika Branchcomb, and notify her once the position has closed or has been filled. (Click here for an example.) If a closing date is not listed, ads will appear online for 60 days from the date the ad was submitted.
Certain League affiliates also offer open position advertising. Positions advertised must suit the organization's posting guidelines. A link to ads submitted for posting on the website will automatically appear in Ken Small's newsletter, Ken's CMs.
