The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, in association with the Southern Waste Information eXchange, Inc., will hold a one-day educational workshop on food recycling and composting on December 9 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando. Workshop participants will learn the most recent developments and projects for managing food residuals, including technologies, state composting regulations and ongoing research.
